During the rule of George V, Punjab Mittulaul Lalah begins his journey through the spice trade, based out of a small shed in Triplicane, Chennai.
The original Madras Curry Powder is born; blended and packed by Lalah and his sisters.
Lalah’s walks away with laurels at their very first international exhibition, the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley.
Dowlathram Seth, Mittulaul Lalah’s dynamic and ambitious son, takes over the business and carries the brand to 25 countries via ocean.
